Pastor Jimmy Odukoya and Wife

The Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Lagos, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, has formally introduced his new wife, Pastor Mo Odukoya, to members of his congregation.
The introduction took place during the church’s Sunday service on November 1, 2026, at its headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos State.
The development followed a social media post by the cleric on Saturday, in which he shared a photograph showing two hands wearing wedding rings with the caption, “To New Beginnings.”
The post triggered speculation among his followers, with many interpreting it as an indication that the pastor had remarried.
However, Odukoya put an end to the speculation during Sunday’s service when he invited his new wife to join him on the altar, introducing her to the congregation as Pastor Mrs Odukoya.
The announcement was greeted with cheers and applause from worshippers as the couple walked towards the stage.
Explaining his decision to remarry, Odukoya said he had spent some time walking alone since assuming leadership of the church but had eventually found a suitable companion.
Making reference to the biblical account of Adam and Eve in Genesis, he said the Bible had established that it was not good for man to be alone.
He said, “So, you know, ever since I became your pastor, I was doing this walk of life alone.
“You know, the Bible said it is not good; it said I will find somebody suitable. When Adam saw it, he said, ‘This is the flesh of my flesh, the bone of my bone, my left and right rib.’
“Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you for the first time, Pastor Mrs Odukoya.”
The cleric subsequently invited his wife to the altar, where she expressed delight at joining the church family and standing alongside her husband.
The couple later knelt before the General Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare, who offered prayers and blessings for their marriage.
Bakare, who reportedly conducted the marriage blessing in the United States, also disclosed that the new bride was the daughter of Reverend Theophilus and Bolaji Daniel.
He prayed for God’s protection, peace and stability in their home, describing their union as a power union and asking that their household become a centre of kingdom activities.
The marriage marks a new chapter in the personal life of the 51-year-old cleric, who is also a Nollywood actor.
Odukoya was previously married to Oluwakemi Banjoko in London in March 2013, and their union produced two children before the couple separated.
He assumed leadership of The Fountain of Life Church following the death of his father, the church’s founder, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, who died on August 7, 2023.
Taiwo Odukoya co-founded the church with his late wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, who died in the Sosoliso Airlines crash in December 2005.
Jimmy Odukoya, who has combined pastoral ministry with acting, gained international recognition for his role as Oba Ade in the Hollywood historical action film, The Woman King.
His introduction of Pastor Mo to the congregation on Sunday has attracted congratulatory messages from followers and members of the Christian community.
